The Escape Artist acts at all times as an agent, sub-agent or broker for various principals and other parties, inter alia; tour operators, airlines, shipping companies, car hire and touring firms, hotels and other providers of tours, transport, sea or land arrangements and other travel-related services.

The terms and conditions of these services are provided by the third party suppliers and are not in the control of The Escape Artist. Please ensure you are aware of and understand the terms and conditions for your booking prior to making payment.

Special travel documents, such as visas and health precautions, may be necessary.

The onus is on the traveler to:

• a) check what travel documents or health requirements are required for their particular destination being visited, including stopovers, transit points, and ports of call.
• b) ensure the correct travel documents are obtained timeously and that health requirements are adhered to.

Entry into a country is at the discretion of a country’s border control which is outside The Escape Artist’s Control. The Escape Artist cannot be held liable for any claims resulting from a country refusing entry and can also not be held liable for incorrect advice given by visa companies, embassies or consulates.

Travel insurance is essential. Please ensure you are aware of the terms and conditions associated with the level of cover you have chosen and how to claim if there is an emergency.

Prices advertised are subject to availability, selected dates, and fluctuations. Prices should be seen as a guide only and are correct at the time of going to print. Errors and omissions can occur. Some prices are based on payment by cash only. Group rates may differ and are available on request. Prices are per person sharing unless otherwise specified. Prices of quotes and bookings are subject to change until full payment is received. Deposits secure the booking only and not the price.

Cancellation fees apply and are subject to the terms and conditions of the third party supplier. Cancellation fees can be as much as 100%. Please ensure you are aware of the cancellation charges prior to making payment. Deposits are often 100% non-refundable. The Escape Artist reserves the right to keep commission or service fees charged on the booking as its cancellation fee. Refunds from the service provider can take up to 12 weeks.

Amendments are subject to the terms and conditions of the third party supplier. Name changes are often not permitted once documents have been issued and names must be checked at the time of booking and payment.

The Escape Artist, third-party suppliers, and Flight Centre cannot be held responsible for cancellation or postponement of travel because of factors outside of their control. These factors are, amongst others, acts of God, weather, mechanical failure, riots, strikes, political uprising.

Payment terms and conditions may apply to your booking and pricing. Cheque payments are not accepted. Prices are subject to full payment reflecting in the Flight Centre bank account. Clients will be held liable for any discrepancies in price should the payment not reflect immediately and pricing changes.

Local airports, parks, hotels or authorities may charge a levy or tax which is not included in your package price and must be paid directly. The Escape Artist cannot be held responsible for these costs but will endeavor to make clients aware of them.

Hotel prices are generally based on entry level room types. Resort image libraries may contain images of various different rooms including upgraded rooms which are not necessarily the rooms for which the price is advertised.
